An Earthbound/Deltarune/Omori-inspired RPG with unique art and writing that requires a very high IQ to understand.

In a strange phenomenon known as the Convergence, portals have started opening across the universe, bringing dangerous monsters, deities, and aliens to the state of Ohkana. James Martins, after ending up in the mysterious THRESHOLD dimension, encounters a cosmic fisherman, who tasks James, alongside two other teenagers, with defeating the seven members of the Blackhole Council, the individuals responsible for the Convergence.

You control James, an antisocial high school student who nobody really likes that much. After school one day, he finds a portal has appeared inside of his refrigerator, when he tries to get a snack. Out of curiosity, he touches the portal, which begins his extraordinary adventure. Along the way, you meet Ella Mayo and others, who join your quest to take down the council.

ELLA MAYO

She’s the first person to join James on his adventure. She’s welcoming, passionate, social, and adventurous. She’s a more traditional hero. She always fights for what’s right, no matter what it takes. She’s one of the few who are intrigued by James, instead of put off by him, joining the quest once she sees him breaking into an apartment –which is necessary for the mission– and investigates, learning of the cause for the convergence, and the danger of the sinister Blackhole council. She fights with a guitar as her weapon, utilizing music in battle.

KAYAK KADE

He’s a cosmic fisherman from the Threshold dimension, who sends James on his quest. He’s a mysterious magical fellow, with strange abilities that stem from his special connection with the universe. He’s incredibly goofy, whimsical, and unpredictable, with a heart of gold. He’s a “being of light,” foretold by an ancient prophecy from across time and space, one whose abilities could be of great use to the Blackhole Council, on their mission for world domination. Before the events of the game, the council captured him for research, but he escaped, bonking his head on their portal machine on the way out, losing his memory, and breaking the machine, indirectly causing the Convergence. Once he regains his powers after his injury, he tags along with James and Ella, assisting in battle.
